NGC 6948
Widefield view
NGC 6948 is a spiral galaxy located in the southern constellation of Indus. It has an apparent visual magnitude of 12.9, making it a faint object observable with medium to large telescopes.
It is a very small and difficult to capture target that I observed for 23 hours on my Vespera II and edited in PixInsight. You can also see a number of other small galaxies in the wide field image above.
