MotoGP 2025 Day 3-Sunday
Race day greeted us with wind. Blustery, blowy wind. We hunkered down in a tent to start with, which was really just a cheap wind tunnel in the end and waited, as everything had been moved to the right by an hour in the programme.
Come midday, we had Moto3, with Joel Kelso coming second for Australia. Moto2 saw Senna Agius take 1st for Australia. Our hopes lay with Jack Miller on the front row for an Aussie podium for all three classes. Unfortunately, as can be seen in the photo below, Jack crashed out near where we were sitting and I managed to capture the entire act. Mir, Bagnaia, and Zarco also had crashes, with a very dejected Pecco watching the final laps of the race from his new vantage point.
Another year in the can, and another great week away at Phillip Island. It’s not perfect, but it’s still a great weekend of racing.
