Grus Quartet

The Grus Quartet is a group of four interacting spiral galaxies located in the southern constellation Grus (the Crane). These galaxies—NGC 7552, NGC 7582, NGC 7590, and NGC 7599—are relatively close to each other, leading to gravitational interactions that have triggered intense star-forming regions, particularly in NGC 7552 and NGC 7582. The group lies approximately 55 to 70 million light-years from Earth.
